Daniele Portinari's farm is located in the hills of Alonte, in the south eastern Berici hills , in the province of Vicenza. In the company we grow several red and white varieties of berries, such as merlot, cabernet sauvignon, pinot bianco, friulano (or white tai) and garganega, planted in the 80s, or like the red tai, the first variety planted by Daniele.
In 2008 our first wine comes out, the Nanni Rosso, a Bordeaux blend based on merlot and cabernet sauvignon dedicated to Giovanni, the first-born of Daniele and his wife Alessandra; the second son, Pietro, will instead give name to Pietrobianco, released in 2010, from Tai Bianco and Pinot Bianco grapes; in the same year the first year, 2009, of Tai Rosso, a native vine of the area, was planted in 2007 near the winery and the other vineyards.
